Dr. Sokun Ky Bhatti is a board certified allergist and immunologist experienced with both adult and pediatric asthma, allergies, urticaria, atopic dermatitis, angioedema and drug allergy. She grew up in the Philadelphia area and attended Villanova University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in Biology. She then attended Jefferson Medical College in 2000, now Sidney Kimmel Medical College. Following medical school, she completed residency in Internal Medicine at University Hospitals, Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Wake Forest University, Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina for her Allergy and Immunology Fellowship. After fellowship she joined the Allergy and Asthma Center of North Carolina where she was a partner prior to moving to the Northeast. Dr. Bhatti is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy and Immunology and a member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. She has presented at the national level and is published in scientific literature. She has participated in many clinical trials investigating new agents for severe asthma, atopic dermatitis, and rhinitis. In addition, she has provided media interviews on various allergy and asthma topics. When not at work, Dr. Bhatti splits her time between family and community activities. She participates in community health fairs and school education on various topics in allergy and immunology. She has mentored students interested in the field of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Bhatti is married and has four children. Her hobbies include reading, art, travel, and gardening. She welcomes patients of all ages and looks forward to providing compassionate, quality care.
