Dr. Armin Marefat, D.O.

Dr. Armin Marefat, D.O. is a board-certified gastroenterologist and internist with 19 years of experience. A true Delaware native, his experience started with high school in Greenville, Delaware. He attended college at University of Delaware and then to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency locally at Christiana Care. He is pleased to return to the area where he grew up and to serve the same community that fostered his career. He has special interests in throat/swallowing and esophageal pathologies. Apart from working, his major passions include investing most of his time to family and nonprofit organizations benefiting the less fortunate.

As a part of ENT & Allergy of Delaware, Dr. Marefat works across our ENT, gastroenterology, allergy, and speech pathology teams to deliver one integrated and multifaceted approach to swallowing/throat issues. This collaborative approach enables ENT & Allergy of Delaware to intervene on the most complex swallowing issues in potentially more effective and coordinated ways versus other providers or practices.
